This weekend, Wes and his Dad did some work in the nursery. They were able to get the chair rail up with no problems and we decided to take the carpet out of the room too. This was one room whose carpet the previous owners did not replace when they replaced the rest of the house's carpet, and it was looking a little gross - so we decided to just rip it out! We figure when we do the painting in a few weeks we won't have to worry about spills/drop clothes, etc. We will feel much better when baby boy is crawling around on new carpet. We now just need to go buy the paint, we have decided on the blue/brown shades. Both Grandmas are coming into town in a few weeks to do the painting. It's fun to have everyone in to take part in putting Baby Buente's room together!
