Yesterday's appointment went well. Dr. Gollnick was very excited to see Chase had some fat rolls. :) He weighed in at 12 lbs. 8 ounces and while he is in the 12th percentile, he's still gaining on his own curve, so that was great. He was in the 39th percentile for height, at 24 1/2 inches. We are still going to offer supplements after his feedings, but only in the afternoons since that is usually the only time he'll take them, if he takes them at all. We also don't have to go back for weight checks, although I'll still do my own at breastfeeding support group each week! He did OK with his shots. He got 3 this time and an oral dose. I fed him right away and it took him a bit longer this time to calm down, poor thing. There's nothing worse for us than seeing him cry from being in pain or being scared, and that's only going to get worse as he gets older. He hasn't had any side effects but was pretty fussy last night, but still slept OK. I thought he might wake up but he didn't! (2 weeks and counting!) He likes his sleep like Mom and Dad!
All smiles during tummy time!
Chase has started to try to hold the bottle, it's too cute!
